Majority of Dieulafoy’s lesions are found at the lesser curvature, within 6cm of the gastroesophageal junction (GOJ), where blood supply is from the left gastric artery
Accounts for 6.5% of UGIBs
Ix: endoscopic visualisation
Mx: endoscopic coagulation, epinephrine or norepinephrine injection and sclerotherapy, or mechanical banding and clipping
